Good for you for tracking it and moving on. There's a quote I saw that goes along the lines of: giving up on healthy eating because of one unhealthy decision is like slashing your other 3 tires when 1 goes flat.

Beating yourself up over something like that does no good at all. What you are doing is awesome!! Even more awesome is that you caught it this quickly. For many people, when they get off track, it spirals into days or weeks of not eating well. Good on you!!!

Way to go, Tracking it! Its awesome you found the motivation to do that. I think thats a hill most of us have to climb. Its the dreaded guilt. "Ahhhhh! I ate something bad and if I track it I will just be off and my whole day will be bad!!" But you took responsibility for it and put it on there and now a. you know how much it hurts or doesn't hurt in the future. and b. like everyone said we are going to "cheat" once in a while. The important part is taking responsibility for it and moving forward. I'm proud of you I hope you are proud of you.

I don't think you should regret it, or punish yourself for it. Sometimes, impulse wins. Just stay on track for the rest of the day. Yesterday i had a scoop of ice cream with some Vernors ginger ale on it... best 230 calories I've had in a while...

Frankly, I think an occasional 'treat" (some people call them "cheats") is good for the mind. It sounds as if you do that sort of thing rarely, so an occasional treat should fit into your diet regimen.

I ate an ice cream (with cone) and a little debbie snack today. I started to regret it, but then I thought I would just post it and get over it. I'm back on track now!
