I think you should be proud of any accomplishment you make even if it is one 1/4 of a lb. If your journey to better health is to succeed you need to be able to recognize changes and how you got there. The tracking food and activity will be key so understanding and perfecting them first is an awesome choice

Well I started without weighing myself. I guessed by the way I felt and thought I weighed. So I've been working on it all week and spending alot of time tryiing to learn to count calories and such and working out. Well, I actually weighed myself today and I was down 15 pounds from my start weight. Now you might think that I shouldn't celebrate but going from 175 to 160 in four days made me feel like celebrating! I'm sure that I have actually lost a couple of pounds. Surely!!!! Well, I feel like it anyway, I know I've lost a load of guilt!! emoticon
