Good for you! I know exactly what you mean! I was a slug when it came to exercise..now I'm going to the gym 5 times a week AND with my pedometer on, I'm walking over 10,000 steps a day. Woo hoo for us!
whoo hoo!!! love that attitude. "make a decision not to judge yourself, self acceptance eases your way". That was my horoscope for today but you can incorporated it into your daily plans as well. keep up the good work.
Great thinking and I've something similar too. I lost 30 pounds over time with an uptick on weight when I thought I had a life style change and found I did not. I'm back at it and I made my last goal of losing 10 more pounds after I already lost 30. I'm only 4 pounds away from my dream weight where the doctors say I will be in the healthy BMI weight. You have to crawl before you can walk. Keep sparking y'all and you will show results.
well done girl !!! keep it up .i have just started with sparkpeople an i am an old biddie i have got two walking buddies and one for the gym to witch yesterday was the frist time i am loveing it i never thought i would b doing this ..at my age i find the tracker helps me as well as i like to keep a check on what i am eating i have only been doing it for about nine days but i have found out in that time i dont eat a lot of protein so you learn something new every day so go for it ..good luck
Great job! You are an inspiration and I thank you. I have just joined ( a couple of days ago) as a way of keeping motivated and holding myself accountable. I struggle with the exercise part. My exercise has been my job in retail, walking between 17,000 and 20,000 steps a day. I guess normally that would be considered good but my body, even as overweight as I am seems to have grown accustomed to it so I guess I need to change up the routine. You have given me the inspiration to do so. Congratulations again Diane

I set small goals for myself because I like results and I like to feel that I can accomplish something. I had the intention of changing a goal as one was met. The one I am most happy about is the exercise. My lazy self didn't think I would do this. Never dreamed I would be excited about it. But I have literally blistered this to bits. I hesitated to change goals because I didn't think it would last (normally-I quit when it comes to exercise). I have proven to myself that I really love it and I've had to change my exercise goals to make sure I am eating enough to keep myself going. I feel better than the energizer bunny and I look forward to exercising. Walking the zoo was no problem for me and I have just impressed myself! I can't believe what I am doing!
