So my biggest issue when losing weight is staying off the scale....I tend to weigh myself everyday and it really hurts my momentum when I either gain or don't lose enough. Last week I made a promise to myself to only weigh in once a week, every Friday....and no other time! I've been dying to step on the scale, but the waiting is causing me to stick to my diet!
I also haven't snacked all week, except what I bring into work. I work in a drugstore in the pharmacy and we all know drugstores are packed with delicious junk food. It gets even more difficult when people I work with bring junk food back to the pharmacy....it's hard to stare at it every few minutes and eventually I usually give in. Well, on Monday someone brought back Russell Stover chocolates...we all know how good they are...I made them put them in the back where I didn't have to look at them. Well....I gave in and tried a chocolate truffle....after two chews...I spit it out. I hadn't had sugar all week and it was too sweet! I couldn't believe it because I'm the worst chocoholic!
I'm hoping to keep up this momentum because I have 48 days till nursing school starts and I really want to be 20 lbs down!
