Very little sleep last night so I was dragging today. Of course it's a busy, get out the door early, kind of day. So about 3 PM, it's time to get on the treadmill. A nap was calling me but I laced up my shoes and got on to do 30 minutes at whatever pace I could muster. Surprise, surprise, the upbeat music on my ipod got me moving along at a pretty good pace (for me!) and I ended up getting in 1.75 miles in 32 minutes. Yes, I went the extra 2 minutes to finish a lap. Note to self - even when you're tired go ahead and give it a try. You may have more in you than you thought.
