Falling is okay. But GET BACK ON TRACK!!!! The worst thing about falling is to just give in and just wallow in food then put on the pounds. You had a slip, but you can eat less later.---- Okay, I just took time to read your whole message. You gained your six pounds back. Today is the first day of the year!!! I gained more than my 6 pounds back, but now....I'm going to get the weight off and stay motivated. I think some of my motivation comes in the form of clothes! I love to look good. It's more important to look good than the health aspect (ah hah). Doesn't matter the motivation as long as the end result is to stay healthy!

I am right there with all you guys. I have been up and down for the past year. was doing ok over the summer then between september and december I gained back the 6 pounds I lost plus 3 more. when I use sparkpeople it really helps me stay motivated and accountable! I just need to keep logging on EVERY day! That is what I need that motivation for. I am trying to have a positive outlook .Every day even every moment we have the ability to make a change for the positive. That is my new years resolution. not to lose a certain amount of weight , or go to the gym a certain amount of days, but to wake up every morning and say what can I do today that will make me happier, healthier, and a stronger person.

I have been with SPARKPEOPLE since 2009, but I would be gungho to lose weight and get fit and eat healthier, then life would get in my way and this would be one of the things that I would let go of. Today is the first day of 2013, and the first day of the rest of my life! Last year, well from Feb 2012 till the last Sunday in Dec of 2012, I had actually gain some weight. I am not happy with that, so I have given me a new out look on my life, changed my attitude, and I am going to try again to stick with SPARKPEOPLE to lose weight this year, and to get fit and eat healthier. I know from past experiences, that I personally NEED the encouragement that is offered and given from the SPARKPEOPLE Family so, here I go again!!!

I'm with ya girl! I've been so bad this holiday season! Doesn't help that I have been down with a back injury and not able to exercise at all. I can't workout but that's no excuse for me to eat as much as I have been. I can blame the injury and being a little depressed, but all in all, its my choice and I need to snap out of this. Let do this!

Just remember that forgiveness is key - you can't take back the past, only learn from it. So take control of your present. The next meal you eat can be healthy and nutritious, and after that you can strive to make the meal after that just as healthy, and so on and so forth. Just take it slow, celebrate the small victories and before you know it you will see BIG results :0) You can do this!

Besides: Tee-hee.....

It is so hard when you show up at work and there is food everywhere! Thanks to all the holidays I have consumed so much sugar (I can't resist sweets!) Somehow though I have managed to lose weight which baffles me. I think its because even if I slip up I don't let it ruin my whole day. If I had a piece of fudge after lunch, I would still go home and eat a healthy dinner and just have smaller portions and not have my evening snack to make up for those fudge calories. Hang in there! The holidays will be over soon and then you will be free of the workday sweets.. at least until Valentine's day lol

I had done so well. I hate to blame holidays so I blame myself. I gained the wonderful 8 lbs. I lost back plus 4! emoticon I am not comfortable in my body. So after my last Christmas gathering yesterday and feeling awful and bloated. I am starting a day early! No more excuses. I then came to work and there is "food day" AGAIN! BUT... I got out my box of Green Giant Veggies and some turkey breast and made myself a healthy lean dish for breakfast! Please wish me luck. I am not meant to be in this body! I will NOT eat anything from the "food cube".... I will not!

Happy New Years Eve to all and many successes ahead!
