this photo says I have had a huge problem..
I now eat meals regularly every 3-4 hours 3 main meals (one portion deals) and 2-3 small snacks including a bedtime desert..
I also noticed eating complex carbs my blood sugar doesn't go so unstable.. When hungry I have a headache, feel sick in my stomach and catch myself being grumpy for no apparant reason and I feel like a car running on empty and slow down..
When I eat complex carbs they are not sugar sweet, natural so I can actually stop at one slice of bread and some cheese on top..
If I have to think too much about what I would like and stuff is circulating around in my head- I am boredom eating.. I also then find if I eat crappy choices the hunger only goes away for a short time and is back again with max 2 hours..
Quality of food helps stop me eating.. If I put away 300 grams or 10 ounces of vegetables I am stuffed vs a packet of potato chips that give me a bloated and stomach ache feeling.. Volume in food also gives a different result.. Huge volume of healthy food will burn off easier and no tummy aches- junkfood sits like a stone, gives me GERD and shows then on the scales to add insult to injuries..
Use sparkspeoples suggestions how to portion food off- no one is saying eat their suggestions but exchange stuff and learn portion control with weigh and measure techniques this totally wipes out guestimation eye balling stuff.. I can fool myself saying aproximately a deck of cards- but I can't look the other way when a kitchen says take some off please..
