I'm right there with you -- I had a bad day at work and came home and ate. I feel really guilty about it now because I had been doing great on this diet and exercising since Saturday, but today blew it! I'm still going to exerise but I ate enough that I need to double up on my exercise but that isn't going to happen. Just keep your head up, tomorrow is a brand new day! emoticon

Hon, don't deny yourslf dinner but just eat something healthy. Have some protein and veggies, or make a delicious smoothie. It's ok to have bad days. We all do it. You can get back to it and make better choices. Knowing and recognizing what your mistakes are is half the battle. Oh and btw...way to go on quitting smoking!!! Day 5...good for you! Stick with it. You'll look back someday and realize what a disgusting habit it really is...I've been there and will never ever smoke again!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Regardless of your calorie count, at least get in some good protein. Skip the pasta and bread. Get in some good green veggies. Your body repairs itself at night and protein are the building blocks it uses. Don't deny your body anything that it needs.

No dinner? You should base your diet with 6 mini meals: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack.

Tell yourself this: IT IS OKAY!

We all fall off the wagon sometimes! The point is to get right back on it. And everyone here is ready to offer tons of support. Good that you're doing SP videos later, it'll make you feel better.

Something to consider also: It's said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and that people who eat breakfast consumer fewer calories throughout the day. Perhaps it works the same way with dinner? If you deny yourself dinner in an attempt to make up for overly-consumed calories, you may end up hungrier tomorrow morning and then the cycle will begin all over again.

Eat dinner. But make it a healthy one, like a salad with grilled chicken. And then tomorrow, resolve to balance your day with healthy foods throughout it. And ask ANY of the Sparklers for support. That's what we're here for!!

Remember: IT IS OKAY that this happened. It's over. We try again tomorrow. :)

I ate and umm ate and ummm ate today, that might be also the whole day 5 in quitting smoking thing ANYWAY........

My calorie totals are like 2,200. Thank god I am not eating dinner, not much of a dinner person anyway but I do exercise in the evening which I AM DEFINITELY DOING SOME SP VIDEO'S AFTER THIS!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This is so frustrating and I feel like I am not loosing anything.
