Woohoo -- love your post! Yes, this is just the beginning for you -- and just the beginning for SparkPeople as we continue adding ways for people to reach goals in all areas of life.
As we talk about in Stage 4 of our program called "Spread the Spark" -- now is an opportunity for you to: 1) Use this momentum to set and reach goals in all areas of life (which will act as a virtuous cycle to keep you motivated with your health goals)
2) Spark other people in your social community and elsewhere -- this is another way to stay on track yourself.
And yes, we'd like to do a study someday :).

My goal was 135. I weighed in this morning at 134.2. Yeah!!! After I got home from work today I went straight Sparkpeople.com, clicked on the HEALTHY LIFESTYLE tab, clicked on Lifestyle Centers, and lastly clicked on Maintaining Your New Weight. Who could ask for anything more?! Guidance and support at our fingertips 24/7!! Awesome! This website is simply the best thing that has ever happened to me for weight control, bar none.
I know maintenance is a whole new ballgame, but I believe my devotion to Sparkpeople has actually caused new pathways in my brain! Someone should do a study, no?
