You rock and you deserved those tears... Joy for all that you have accomplished and continue to do. Way to go and may you cry those tears of joy soon in the next few months when you meet your next hurdle.

What an inspiration to the rest of us. emoticon emoticon

Shed the tears as you've already sloughed off the pounds....purging yourself of this 'mantle' is worked hard, and you ABSOLUTELY deserve the feelings you have today.

Wow, thank you all so much for the cheers :-)

I wish you all well. Countless people have already said this but I'll add to the sentiment that what makes an enormous difference on Spark is the community.

Spark's given me hope, I think that's the most important part. *hugs*

Great! You should be very proud of your determination. With everything you must have learned about yourself this year, you'll be at 75 in no time.

Wow, thanks for sharing your amazing progress. You earned those tears :).

Keep this up and you'll reach more goals than you have ever imagined and have so much fun LIVING life (and you'll be better able to handle the inevitable setbacks we all see on our adventure).

90kgs/198lbs is the number that stared back at me this morning. My highest weight was 330+lbs in 2001/2. My weight on 1/1/2011 was 116kgs/255lbs.

I have been obese my entire life from the age of 5, I don't think I can begin to describe what this whole thing feels like.

BMI 28.7
Blood sugar in control - a healthy person's A1c.
Blood pressure medication lessened with possible view to stop in the future.
No more antidepressants, anxiety meds once every blue moon - and the moon is getting blue more and more rarely, too.

90kgs was the ultimate goal I set for myself on January 1st - and then I challenged myself to change it to 75. Today I weigh 90kgs. It sounded so... extraordinary, on January 1st. So "out there." Now it's real.

And just typing that I feel that emotion again.

Thank you all, my friends on Spark, the coaches here who answered my questions, the people who stopped by to give advice when needed, the motivators, the people plugging away who are /my/ motivators. This is like seeing a bright, bright light after a long, long night - maybe that's why the eyes were watery this morning ;-)

Guess I'll get sunglasses for the next part of my journey until I reach my new goal!
