I spend about 45-60 mins here in the morning while I drink my coffee. I earn my Spark points for the day, visit the community, do my tracking, etc. Then I just visit a couple times during the day to do a quick check of my meal plans for the day or calculate recipes.
I try to limit my time spent on the computer in place of physical activity. However, with the winter coming I fear I may be filling some gaps of boredom with computer time.
"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.

I agree. I'm probably on SparkPeople more than I am on Facebook. The site is very motivating and full of great articles. I got home from work today and I had my mind made up that I was not going to do anything since I worked out yesterday. Thanks to the new start page, I saw my goal board and I got a burst of energy/motivation. I ended up going on a 40 min bike ride and biked almost 5 miles :)

WOW there is absolutely TONS of information, articles, interesting people, recipes, etc. I have literally been online here for hours today. I just find one interesting tidbit to the next and I just read and read and get inspired and read and read. It's a vicious cycle!!!!
