thanks guys, you talked sense into me. It's just so hard, when I only have about a month where I am not working, and before I start a crazy hectic schedule... I wanted to be knee deep into a fitness routine and now I feel like I am wasting my time doing nothing when I had this plan forever to use this time for jump starting my health... but all is well, I am going to go to the gym today and walk on the treadmill for like an hour, to keep my head in the game :)

If I were you, I would steer clear of the 30 Day Shred until you are well and ready to go.

As you probably know, Jillian Michaels is not known for gentle workouts!

It's not an easy workout - even level 1 works you hard, and although it says just two minutes of cardio per circuit, the strength work is hard and intense so it still keeps you heart rate up.

Rest up, look after yourself and your body will thank you for it in the long run.

emoticon ok. actually, just after I wrote this, I had a coughing fit- taking it as a sign. I need to sign off SP for a few days... I keep logging on to keep my motivation up, but it is having the opposite effect... I am getting antsy and frustrated lol.

your heart rate will be up for the majority of the workout, so you might want to wait a little longer!

I am sick but sitting on the couch is making me munch out and be miserable, so I am starting the 30 day shred tomorrow against advice. I may pay for it later, but I have always been the type to have to make my own mistakes to believe things lol. My question, for those who have done the 30 day shred... is it more cardio, in which you are left breathless throughout, or is it more strength, where the heart rate is kept lower... I feel fine strength-wise to start this, I just know it is my cardio/lungs that would not be 100% just yet
