I think that this is a wonderful place and the only place that has really helped me. Look around. You might be interested in joining some "Challenge" teams so that you will get extra encouragement and motivation on your weight-loss path. I always find that using the trackers helps to keep me honest and knowing that I will track my exercise always makes me want to get in another 5 or 10 minutes. Knowing that I will track my food helps me to choose a friendly carrot instead of a more ominous choice.

I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!

Merry Christmas! So glad you are here! I got back on in August for the second time. I didn't take it seriously the first time. There is a ton of support here!

I have done better just since August than I did the beginning of the year. Read the blogs. They really inspire me. So many people facing more difficult challenges and they are making things happen. Really gets me off the couch!

There will be down days/weeks but you can do this! I look forward to reading about your success!
