I'm not sure if I am losing or not, but my mind is in a better place. Ready to keep the faith and this life I have worked so hard to have. I am determined no matter what the scales look like. Today, I know I am doing just fine.

I hit a plateau of 70 for many months, After walking on the treadmill for a month suddenly this week I have broken through & have lost 3 lbs....Don't know what broke through-just did

I stayed on a plateau for months, lose a pound, gain a pound. I noticed I was eating almost the same thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even eating the same ole snacks. When I changed up my eating habits I started to lose weight again.

I know that from this summer till now, I have lost about 8 inches. So, I know that my body is still changing. Its just that I just don't feel as successful mentally. I had been using weight to determine if I was successful in my health journey. I guess I need to refocus and reevaluated my standards of success.

You could exercise with a twist, e.g. do HIIT. There is a good article about HIIT here in Spark. I bet you will start losing again!

There are lots of great articles on Spark about this topic, The main thing is to not give up because you've come so far! You didn't mention if you've been tracking inches lost, that usually is forgotten since we tend to focus on the scale for results. Have you noticed a change in how your clothes fit as well? Results come from more than just the scale.

Maybe try switching something up. Do a different exercise than you have been, or reevaluate your calorie range with Spark. It looks like you've already lost some weight (congrats!) and maybe your ideal range has changed.

I think this happens with everyone now and again, and really it can be just a matter of looking at your goals. Are you at a healthy weight for yourself? Have you been tracking your food/exercise? Do you honestly feel you have been eating/exercising to lose weight?

HUGS. I highly recommend tracking and measuring - perhaps keeping a "journal" as well, to show you how you are feeling.

I need some help. I have been maintaining my weight since about August. I need to lose about 70 more pounds and for some reason I can't get my mind as focus as I was in the beginning of the year. I am losing with a friend I would hate for her to pass me up (She is still losing). I need help.

Has anyone gone through this before?
