I've learned so much about how our food is processed. The BBC documentary "THE MEN WHO MADE US FAT" on YouTube is a real eye-opener. The whole idea is to SELL us more food, thus we have gotten FAT. Now sell us drugs to make us healthy, etc. Very interesting documentary. And since I'm 63, I remember the news stories about how we had to eat "low fat" etc. back in the 1970s. When I was in high school in the 60's we were nearly ALL slim. I was 5'4" and was 114# and that wasn't "skinny" at all. Things have really changed.
Everyone keeps questioning why I decided to give up meat, especially pork. Well mainly because of my health of course. I believe I can feel a whole lot healthier by doing this. I gave up pork years ago when I was diagnosed with brain calcification. I ate pork which wasn't well cooked many years ago. The pork carries so much garbage because they eat a whole lot of garbage! I heard about this so much, but didn't think it would happen to me. I had a maggot chew a spot on my brain and now instead of soft tissue I have a hard bony spot! I dent know if I will face some health issue later on in life, for now I wake up almost every day with a headache. A headache that affects me more on the right frontal of my head. That's where I have the hard bony area! We will see how this goes! Wish me luck SparkFriends!
