There are so many great resources here! I recommend starting with the nutrition/food tracker because that is the key element in weight loss for most people. Then, once you're comfortable with tracking your food on a daily basis, start exploring more areas of this site. I still find something new here almost every day. By tracking everything since May 2011 and using the other features here to keep myself focused, I lost 90 pounds and have maintained that loss for almost a year now. It takes a little bit of time, but it is sooooo worth it!
Take a few minutes and make up a sparkpage making it public and allowing members to post a message on it
Also don't forget to participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined - lots of encouragement there
I am close to 300 (295) so I can understand where you are at - please let me know if I can be of help

Hi my name is Nancy and I am from Missouri...I am weighing in at 300+ and trying to lose ALOT of weight. I know it wont be quick or easy...1 pound at a time is my goal.....I need any help I can get, thanks
