I was reading your reply, and realized it sounds so familiar..... I could have written those words. I am on and off spark people like a yo yo. Tonight I am surfing through SP, chips in one hand and mouse in the other. I just read a post from a gal, and it truly inspired me.
I'm back in the saddle again, and the first thing I'm tackling is my binging. I am not happy until I have eaten until I am uncomfortable. Each time I reach this point I weigh my "heaviest", and I never successfully loose all of my desired weight. Any suggestions?
So, I start again! What really angers me,for the past year I was really doing well with exercise, diet, but still tended to binge on and off. The past 2-3 months I have totally derailed, and all my gains have been lost. I eat out 3-5 times a week, a drink after work, my sins are endless.

I am a self professed binge eater also and like you, have played the weight loss yo-yo far too many times. I've found that my biggest problem is me! My mind has a strange way of convincing me that its okay to sit down every once in a while and pig out. At times my mind hounds me until I give in, fixating on food and the comfort it brings. However, I am convinced that it is just an addiction, just like alcoholism, and the addiction can be beaten with perseverance, support and guidance. If you wish for support in this endeavor you are taking I will certainly listen. Maybe I can learn something about myself by helping others suffer through the most difficult of times.

I have been trying to get healthy and off some of my meds. I lost 42 lbs then lost my motivation and have been playing the yo yo game. I was exercise 4 days a week for an hour each time. Then had an accident that caused a great deal of pain. Start physical therapy next week. Can anyone help me get my head back in the game.
