Hello and welcome =D ! I can defiantly understand. When I started SP I did had a hard time getting motivated at first. Pretty much the only advice I can think of is to take it one step at a time.

Thank you Sheila for your reply and advice . i have made my spark page and i am really gonna put a lot of effort into loosing weight and getting healthy . i think what i need is encouragement and the motivation to keep going . i am hoping to find some of that here .

Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining! I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. Hi my name is Gail ..I joined this site last year and never really gave it a chance to work . well i remember joining and came back with all my body weight from last year . to give it another try . i really need some motivation and support . as hard as i have tried and i have truly tried to loose weight i can't seem to . i will be 50 years old this July , and i am tired of feeling tired all the time . i am about 40 lbs over weight . my current weight is 171lbs. so any help and advice i would greatly appreciate thank you in advance .
