stella is a nickname. I wonder if I can change my user name to cindy, but more than likely it will tell me that that name is already taken. Again, thanks for the reply. I have been on the site for a few hours now. going to take a break for awhile and head back tomorrow.

thanks so much for your reply. I will be going to check on the other goals, I think I will try to track foods, to get the hang of it, and see just how bad I am eating. Can I ask you for help again? Cindy

Hi Stella, and welcome back!

To track your FastBreak goals, look up to the line with the orange tabs. Click on "My Trackers", and then on "Other Goals". The FastBreak goals that you chose, should show up on that page.

You can certainly use the Nutrition and Fitness trackers during this FastBreak stage. Tracking helps by giving you information that helps you to see what you need to change going forward. When I first started here, I tracked my food without changing the way I ate. It opened up my eyes as to what a portion was, and how often during the day I was eating.

Just coming back and I really want to figure out how to use sparkpeople. Now with the fast break, where do I log in if I complete the 3 breaks and when. Do I still start to try and track my food and exercise.

No problem. Here is an overview of the FastBreak stage:

"The Fast Break Stage is a springboard that gives more power to the other SparkDiet Stages. Just a little prep and practice give you a head start without the need for manic, life-altering changes. You’ll choose and focus on three small, simple goals that will help you get off to a good start without overwhelming you. Meanwhile, you’ll learn six strategies that will set you up
for success."

And a link to the whole article, if you want to read more:

So although you may not feel like you are doing very much, you are getting to know the site, starting to learn about setting some goals, and generally being successful as you move toward the time when you will start to make some healthy living changes in your lifestyle.

This is the part where other diets fail. When you are overwhelmed at the beginning, and think that you can't do it all *ALL* the time, and quit. Here, it's not like that. You are moved through the program at a pace where it's easy to make changes as they come along.

Hope this helps,
