This is a great aha moment for you,I too feel as though pounds aren't coming off quickly enough but I also am doing water aerobics and am down 14" in 4 wks. my cloths are starting to show me I can do this!!

I have been working my Butt off with water aerobics, walking, and trying to lose weight with restricting calories. No progress to speak of with weight, but my recent blood draw shows my total cholesterol is down 25 points, my LDL is down 24 points, my triglycerides are GREAT and I have lost sizes--2 down on swimsuit sizes. If I keep this up, I have to lose weight (I hope!)
