Keep on rocking it -- I know I try to ignore my brain at times when it tells me things aren't working when in reality things are just not as quickly as my mind would like -- you're rocking it!!!

It truly does seem unbelievable to us "losers", because we have never seen such success before. Another shocker is catching your reflection in a window as you walk by. I still can't believe my eyes.

Spark On!

I would like to share with you the tale of the Incredible Shrinking PHEONIX2000.

I have lost 40 lbs. I still can't really believe it. That's like an entire box of books! The family dog! All of my free weights put together!

The scale tells me this is so. The trackers and body measurements on this site tell me this is so. I can now run for 45 minutes when just a few short months ago, I got winded after about 45 seconds. I now have a jean size that I haven't been able to pull off EVER. All of this confirms that I have in fact lost 40 lbs.

I have to rely on these markers because when I try to process the fact that I have lost about 20% of my starting body weight, my brain just kind of shuts down. It still wants to tell me that nothing is working and that nothing is changing.

Let this be a lesson to you. The brain is a stupid stupid organ. Don't listen to it. Listen to numbers. They never lie.
