I've thought about the minutes thing too, but I have trouble coming up with good alternatives. Calories burnt doesn't really mean anything for strength training. Reps and amount lifted seems more personal to an individuals goals that anything else. Even awarding extra points for progressive gains will only hurt those who have been at it longer.
I agree minutes means nothing. How would you structure it?

hahah .. poor SP. I find it irritating that they give points for minutes. Minutes is about the worst measurement of "fitness". lol.
Whatever it takes though. It must be good enough, we keep coming back for more. heh.
I noticed that they are now giving 5 points for every article read, while workouts are now a purely time based point system.
I admit to being a slave to the point system, it does seem to motivate me pretty effectively, but it irritates me that they have increased the points you can get for reading, rather than increasing the points you get for actually exercising or tracking nutrition.
