I want to binge too! My family is going out to a pizza restaurant tonight and I SO want a pizza and a beer! I'm sitting here salivating over the idea but in reality I will order grilled meat and grilled veggies.

Always, and I MEAN ALWAYS, keep something at work that you can eat if you can't have a proper lunch. Crackers and PB, a can of soup, power bar, shake, something! Otherwise, your blood sugar drops, your hunger instincts kick in and you will! be miserable :)

Thank you all for your help. I made it passed the urge. I did choose a 1/2 bagel with some peanut butter on it. Before long it was time for dinner of a healthy soup. I was good after that and I am down another 0.2 this morning. WOO HOO !!!

Fruit helps me when I get to that state.. sometimes a lot - like a whole apple sliced up and a whole banana and a bunch of grapes or strawberries.. ok, still hungry? have a greek yogurt (fat free).. and then a fiber bar.. If you have to binge and hunger is part of it, choose HEALTHY foods.. and get the bad-for-you binge foods out. I have had to eliminate ice cream from the house and all kinds of soda, and chips, and cookies.. But now without the bad things here, the temptations to binge end up in healthy choices at least.

One of the biggest reason we end up binging is we physiologically allow ourselves to get too hungry so we eat whatever we can get our hands on. I recommend that you find something to eat, if that is an option. Skipping meals only keep us trapped in a diet mentality.

Is there any way you could go eat the lunch you missed now? I don't think holding on until dinner works well....most people end up on a binge as a result.

I have done good with my eating for several days now. Right now it's 3:45pm, I didn't really have a lunch (because I was working). Now I want to wait until dinner butI am feeling the urge to go on a eating binge. HELP!!!
