Are figs really full of baby wasps?

Never tried a fig. What would you say they taste like? I am guessing pears.

I like figs, but at the mention of them, I think of my dad. He loved them!

Eating them too. Even made low calorie strawberry fig preserves.

Very nice roasted with a drizzle of honey and some greek yoghurt. Must see if they're in my local shop yet.

Fresh figs are delicious, but I don't care much for dried.

Ours aren't ripe yet. I have two trees, and there's one in an empty lot down the street!

I can't wait until they're ripe!

I love fresh figs but it's hard to beat the birds to the ones on my little fig tree. When I was a kid, my grandfather would give me fig Newtons, which I HATE! I was too polite to hurt his feelings by not taking them so I'd smash them into dirt around my grandmother's potted plants.
