Thanks folks! It's so great seeing these sizes go down. I'm only 5'2", so I still have a way to go, but the smallest I ever saw was an 8 (for a week or so - haha!) and that was ONE pair of pants that was probably mis-sized! lol! The thought of getting into a 10 at this point in my life - my gosh, I'll be dumbfounded. Never thought it could happen, but now that I've made it into the 12s, could it really become a reality?

Dare I hope?

I hope someday I can claim the same size! I have been a 14-16 since High school which has been 31 years!! Can't say I don't stay consistent emoticon I have a pair of size 12 button up jeans waiting patiently in my closet!

Thanks everyone! Feeling pretty good today...even if the scale was up this morning (could have something to do with that pizza last night - haha!) It's all good though - progress continues!

Yes, I am - easily!

Several weeks ago I bought a pair of 12 capris. I found them on clearance and figured it was just generous sizing - a hint to the next size. Today, I did a little shopping and found a pair of skorts for $10 in a size 12 - I also tried on several pairs of jeans in size 12 and they all fit! Granted, I didn't buy any jeans, didn't like how they looked - I truly think I can claim a size 12 at this point.

I used to wear a size 18 jeans. When those got too tight, I just didn't wear jeans any more. I couldn't bring myself to buy them any bigger. I can now claim a 12 and forsee that in the not too distant future this size may eventually be too big, too! I honestly can not remember how long it has been since I've worn this size. 20 years ago, maybe?
