Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Hey there! Welcome to Spark People! This site is soooo great to help with motivation (or, as I like to say, mobilization). I suggest you read all the materials you get in the first few months carefully. The details of food are not nearly as important as getting the "Spark approach" into your head. It is very different than dieting. It is, I believe, a cure for the diet mentality that leads to re-gaining the weight (and feeling like an abject failure). If you get a chance, get the founder's book, The Spark. It really captures the essence of the approach. Please feel free to visit my Page. I have been here a year and 4 months, lost 60 pounds slowly and carefully and have ten to go. I went from being unable to climb stairs (arthritis) to working out daily (not a whole lot but more than enough to restore my function). This is a very supportive community. So read other peoples' blogs and Message Board posts and be sure to reply with support and encouragement, cuz that will help you even more than it helps them! Blog and post your own process and learn from others who are succeeding in the journey. Spark ON!

This is my first time being on this site, and the main reason I signed up is to find other people that is taking this journey of losing weight. I have be unmotivated for weeks now, and its time I get up and get moving!..SO I WELCOME any encouragement and tips on this path I am excited to take. :)
