You might want to look at how you are splitting your calories throughout the day. If you went to the 6 smaller meals idea, then you'd might be able to take care of your hunger in the afternoon, and still be able to sit down and enjoy a (smaller) meal with your family in the evening.

In the afternoon I feel like I can't get full and will overeat. Then when its time for dinner, I'm not hungry, but I still sit down with my family and eat anyways. Any suggestions for what I should do?
