I do crave protein too. But my biggest craving is carrots. I eat around 20 lbs. a month. just munching away on raw carrots.

Haha, 2 lbs Russel? I thought I was doing good, generally get a pound to pound and a half. But I also get a good portion of my protein through dairy.
There are times when i'll nuke one of those "family" sized bags of steamable broccoli or brussel sprouts and eat that. I always feel better the next day. I know that over thanksgiving as much as I was loving the home cooking, a meal of a quart sized bowl of veggies and 12 oz grilled chicken breast would have hit the spot. Midwest family, so many carby sides. I love them, but I'll need to eat a little different when I'm home for 3 weeks over Christmas.
I have always loved meat, and eat 2 lbs a day of it still.
What has changed is my love of veggies. Sometimes I will just sit down and eat 3-4 cups of vegetables in a bowl. Like I used to do with cereal.

Definitely crave protein. Although I used to crave cookies and cakes, when I was really hungry only protein would do even before I started working out. Now, if I don't get protein at every meal, I am constantly hungry and wanting to snack all day.

I crave protein all the time. Especially, if I'm on the road or out of town for a few days and eating mostly junk (happens whenever we visit BFs family, they are not healthy eaters at all), I find myself by the end of it craving a nice roasted chicken with some fresh green beans and roasted rosemary potatoes.
I'm with you- all I want is proten all the time. I love chicken and quinoa and eat both constantly, but lately I've been having crazy cravings for peanut butter. That stuff is crazy high in calories so I really monitor it but it's like it calls to me from the kitchen. ;) I'm with ya on the protein cravings, though. I work out a lot so I think that explains it.

I used to have late night craving for cake and candy. Now that I have been eating more healthy and working out, my cravings are for meat. Chicken, steak, and pork, has anyone noted any changes in what they want to eat?
