I had a 3 pound hula hoop, I tried to use it for 6 months and I couldn't. Then in April I bought a 160PSI hoop on etsy and I am slowly being able to hoop. I can keep it going for about a minute and a half now (sometimes).

Thats interesting! So hula hooping helps reduce your hips/ waist? I have love handles i'd like to get rid of... would hula hooping help with that? Also, does it have to be weighted?

I cannot hardly use an un-weighted hoop!

I purchased a weighted hula hoop. I did not think I could do it because it has been 20 years since I last hula hooped. It came back, just like riding a bike. It is a great workout. I hula hoop while watching television.

I bought a weighted hula hoop. I was surprised to see that I can still do it (only the weighted ones) and I really love doing it, but it hurts my waists when it slings against it. I try to pad it well so it doesn't hurt so much. I do love it though

I bought the gold's gym 2.5 pound weighted Hula Hoop. I couldn't spin it. tried again and again. No luck. Finally got it to spin... twice. My grown daughters and I went to KMart. I saw hula hoops (insert evil grin) My daughters and I learned an important lesson - we can NOT hula hoop anymore AND Kmart employees have a blast reviewing security tapes.

I'm going to buy a weighted hoop from Hypnotica. I hooped in my twenties and had a 22 inch waist. I may never see that number again, but it IS an emoticon cardio workout!
