I have a Fitbit and I love that it syncs with Sparkpeople. When I'm busy I try to make sure I'm getting lots of activity in the day, starting with a goal of 10,000 steps.

Honor yourself for the tremendous weight you have lost to date. Wow! I'm inspired! What a lot of work you did to get that off!
Does the praise for what you have accomplish help motivate you to re-start?
I have been within 5-8 pounds of my ideal weight for 40 years. I feel like I have to start over every single day! There certainly are setbacks!

Congrats on the weight you have lost. You just gotta find something that fits your current lifestyle. Let yourself have what you love. Only make small changes. For instance, I have a lot of time right now, so I can workout a lot. But if I get a job, or take up more classes, I can't, so I'll pay more attention to food intake. If you love getting coffee on your way to work, let yourself have it. If you like fast food sometimes, let yourself have it. Small changes are the ones that stick so that you won't have to restart. You probably already know that by having lost weight already, though.
Congrats on your original 50 pounds lost! I find when I need to get back on track the nutritional tracking is a MUST for me also! Starting to slip is the worst feeling :-( You need to get at those 8 pounds right away before they become 10 or worse, 15!! You don't want to go there, its a horrible feeling. You have worked way too hard to lose those 50 to give up now. Chances are you might be feeling a little comfortable with yourself and that is great, you should be very proud of yourself for losing 50 pounds to start with but you have to realize how badly you want to get back on track and get healthy! Put on a pair of pants that are a little too tight and wear them all day, lol, remind yourself of your little slip and get tracking your food! You'll lose those 8 pounds again and then continue on with your journey! You are worth it :-)

Congratulations on your weight loss! Does the dating mean that you are eating out more than you used to? You might find this article helpful:
It's important to take time to concentrate on your own goals even though it's difficult when you are busy. When I'm in re-start mode, I usually start with the nutrition tracker. Even if I can't track everything, I'll track what I can and the problems with my eating soon become apparent!
Good luck, you can do it!
My Sparkpage is set to private, but I'm open to SparkMail! ______________
