Hi everyone. I've used Sparkpeople for awhile now, and have been trying to start losing weight for the last few months. I purchased a stationary bike and starting counting calories, limiting myself to stay between 1200-1500. I took the last 2-3 weeks off of exercising because of a health condition that just made me feel crummy, but I'm back to the bike and exercise videos. But it seems that my weight just won't budge. I'm stuck at 168 (which is considered 10 pounds overweight for my height). I've seen the scale read 165 occasionally, but the next time I weigh myself, it's back to 168. How do I stay motivated to keep going, when my weight won't move even when I'm trying really hard? What are some tips and tricks to keeping the first few pounds OFF and starting the weight loss process?
