There are many beverages that hydrate the body: milk, juice, pop, diet drinks, tea, coffee, etc.

However, you want to use drinks appropriately, especially when wanting to cut calories and lose weight.

An idea when you have your grandchildren---sit down and have a "tea party" as a snack. They will love the fun and you can get in some extra fluid.

You also get water from fruits and vegetables as well as tea and coffee. I like the sparkling waters with flavor (but no artificial sweeteners). You can also keep a pitcher of ice water in the refrigerator and add some lemon, lime, and/or orange slices. that is very refreshing.

I think I would count it if it is noncarbonated and unsweetened

Do you think non-caffeinated herbal tea would count as water? My office is freezing and I drink at least one large mug of hot unsweetened non-caf herbal tea each AM and PM. Just wondering if I can count that? I don't add anything to it...

Lots of Ice, a little lemon and from a 24 ounce Aladdin bottle. It's always in my hand.

I don't really like the "taste" of water and so it was hard to cut out soda and get in the 8 cups of water a day, but I have found that if I add a crystal light on the go packet to 32oz of water it gives it a taste I like with no sugar and not too sweet as the packets are intended for a 16oz bottle of water. This has really helped me and the only days I have a problem with my water is on the weekend when my life is insane with a 2yo granddaughter & 4yo grandson that keep me on my toes.
