I have never taken vitamins and just read somewhere that they are of no value to us anyway.I think if you eat properly you will not need them.I usually drink a smoothie if my energy is low.

No Never have. This is something you should discuss with your doctor and have your blood checked if it happens frequently, some vitamins/minerals have the same symtoms if to little or to much is absorbed in your system.

I take loads of supplements due to an autoimmune condition. Autoimmune diseases are typical for causing fatigue. I've been prescribed some of my supplements, but others I've researched and added on my own (with the approval of my specialists).

Yes. When I skip those supplements I feel the difference. It may not be immediate, but within a day or so I'm dragging around listlessly. I only take one multivitamin - but those are usually on the low end of our RDAs. The other things I take, I take individually - not as multi "specialty cures". I take each one to address a particular symptom or perceived deficiency (or to prevent a deficiency). I log everything on my Nutrition Tracker (a scary thing to see, if you want to look!) so I remember to take them.

PLEASE CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN when adding anything to your dietary plan! If you're on any meds, or taking other supplements, someone other than ourselves needs to be monitoring those additives. Even herbals can react with each other, and many interact with Rx products, making them ineffective, or possibly increasing their effects. A pharmacist can help you with those aspects also.

I firmly believe that we can affect our health with nutrition, both beneficially and negatively. But we have to do so responsibly, and in partnership with our healthcare providers. Just be careful in what you choose and how you make those choices. Don't fall for the popular "fad" supplements. Do your due diligence. Your health will reflect it!

I haven't taken vitamins in years, I think they are a waste. I never felt any extra energy, or the lack of if I missed them.. The only thing that happened to me was my urine was very yellow and I felt nauseous!

When I forget to take my daily vitamins, I feel like I have less energy? Does anyone else experience this? Thank you.
