1/2 a cup is generally considered a serving of veggies, I think. As for vegetable soup, you'd have to figure out the serving size. Let's say you make a batch. Enter all the ingredients into the recipe calculator. Then, mesaure the whole batch. If there's 2 cups, you could make a serving size 1 cup or 1/2 cup for purposes of tracking.

How does one find out the serving size for veggies? For example, is a serving size for broccoli 1 cup or 1/2 cup? Also, when I make a veggie soup, is 1 serving one bowl, or is it more? I would think it would be more since there are lots of veggies in it not to mention crushed tomatoes in the broth.
