Sorry that was a pretty redundant question. It's hard to remember all of this fitness and nutrition stuff and even harder when you read differing things coming from different people all over this website, other websites, books, trainers, etc. I do remember that diet is key and have adjusted mine to be MUCH more healthy. Thank you for responding!

Like I said below, I recommend doing this a few times a week, but then mixing in other activities a few other times a week for the best results.

What matters most when it comes to weight loss is diet, not exercise. So as long as your exercise routine is challenging and you vary it regularly, that's what is most important.

On the off days would throwing more cardio in be a good idea? I was reading another message board post and it said that the 30 day shred was best for getting in strength exercise but that you still need to get in more cardio if you want to lose more pounds?

My preference is to do something like that a few times a week, and then other activities a few other days a week. That way you're getting lots of variety which keeps you from getting bored and keeps your body challenged.

I got the DVD's and I'm kind of a couch potato. I used to work out 5 times per week and I was a runner and now I get in about a workout a week and dog walk. I want to get more fit, but I don't think I want to do this every day. How often should I be doing the program? I can handle levels 1 and 2 and haven't tried 3. Will 3 days a week be enough?
