I'm surprised to see how many people only weigh weekly!!! Is this hard for you? I don't think I could go a whole week.... I'd be worrying about the number every day! OR alternately, FORGETTING about the number every day. Either way is bad for me... LOL

I step on the scale every morning, however, I don't hold myself to the numbers on the scale expect for on Monday mornings. It has been a habit of mine since the beginning of time...lol...but I do not beat myself up over the numbers, I know our weight fluctuates daily.

Not very often because I dont have a scale at home. So basically everytime I find a scale I weigh in!

I always tell myself I'm only going to weigh myself once a week, like Sunday morning, and sometimes that's what I do and sometimes it's more often. I go by my clothes too but I just like to know my weight too. It's a tricky thing though, so many variables ~ like a slow digestive system on some days, water retention, a hard weight lifting session, etc., so I always try to keep that in mind. Especially when I weigh 123 one day and then 125.5 two days later and I know I didn't eat that many calories! :)

Hi everyone! I'm Amanda, I'm new to SP, but so far I'm loving all the activity I see on this message board!
My question is one that has probably been asked countless times before, but I'm curious of everyone's response...
How often do you get on the scale? Some people have told me they weigh everyday, while others once a week, and others have even told me that they avoid it at all costs and go by the way their clothes fit!
I personally try to get on the scale everyday...it helps keep me accountable, and when I see a drop (even of 0.5 lbs or less!) it gives me a slight bit more motivation! If I DON'T weigh everyday, I find that I don't want to step on the scale because I tend to be more allowing of binges!
