I weigh myself every day that I am home. I only track my weight on Monday mornings though. The daily weigh in is just a mental check for own satisfaction.

I weigh myself every morning. Sure, this number makes me angry but serves as a good reminder for me :) I found that if I go too long without weighing myself, I tend to lose control.

The general guidelines say to weigh once a week or less while you're trying to lose weight, and daily when you're trying to maintain. It makes sense to me; it's just easier on your mental health if you set yourself up to have the best chance of seeing what you want to see. The more often you weigh, the less change you're able to see. In maintenance, you don't want to see change, so checking every day is good- you can react immediately if something moves. When you're trying to lose, on the other hand, you desperately want to see change. Watching weight change is like watching a tree grow. If you look too often, you can't see it at all.

I also weigh myself every morning as It gives me a starting point for the day. As for posting it on my page 1 x a week. Weight can fluctuate day to day so It may not be best to keep a daily imput as you may get frustrated. I also go by my measurements cause the scale may not move but it shows in " lost.

Hi All,

I weight myself pretty much every morning and have been keeping a personal log on my phone, but was wondering how often I should log it on here. I want to log it since I've had a loss, but was wondering if I should see if it stays the same for 2-3 days. What would you do?
