I use everything. I may let things rest for a while to change workout routine, but waste nothing.

I have two treadmills, I use them both, one for running and one for walking. I have two exercise bikes, I only use one. I have over the years purchased tons of DVD's, Videos etc. I sporadically use them, but don't you dare touch them. I also have an Xbox Kinnect with Zumba and Nike Fitness Programs that I use occasionally. I have all this things so that don't have to go to the gym, I am afraid of all the germs.

I have managed to use all my fitness items and they are good running shoes, jump rope, stability ball and the roads, trails, and tracks that I am able to walk and run on everyday!
I use everything I bought. my treadmill needs a new belt and it died. Have a date to lift weights in the morning in my weight room.

For all those who buy DVDs, try checking out your local library. I never get bored that way and if there is one I keep going back to, I'll pick it up on Amazon. It reduces clutter and saves money.

I have lots of exercise DVDs and VHS tapes; I use most of them or have in the past. I get tired of them and move onto others. I don't think I've ever used the Pilates video I bought. I have a Nordic Track that I rarely ever use and a mini trampoline. I use my step and weights the most in conjunction with the videos!
In the past 6 months I got into the exercise DVD kick and have bunches that I have never opened. Instead I have a few faves that I use. Eventually, I'll get around to them.

Sometimes you want to try something new and buying a dvd and trying it in your own home and not in public is what you want to do. Then you don't really like it. Same with me for exercise equipment ....I should join a gym and try the equipment there first I guess. But you have to try new things or you get bored.

None--I'm not trendy and I don't follow fads. I don't own a lot of fitness stuff though, only:
yoga mat balance ball (sit on it all the time while working from home) Zumba DVDs balls (basket, tennis, volley, soccer) tennis racket, racquetball racket
A step and a treadmill that isn't in very good shape.

Guilty. I have a bunch of workout DVDs that I haven't used in ages (years). I also have a step that I used when I was in a step aerobics phase. At the time, I used it on a regular basis. not any more. I had a stability ball, but it was too small. so that got tossed.
I have resistance bands that I have used and still use, but I need new ones because they eventually do break. I also have a set of push up bars that I'll occasionally take out and use. most times, I just to do regular push ups and don't need them.
What fitness item gets the most use ? My running shoes.

I bought some DVDs from Gaiam that were really disappointing. One purchase included a ball you filled with water so it was weighted. The ball leaked from the very beginning. Ugh!
I bought some of those stretchy resistance bands that I thought I would use but they never came out of the box.
On the flip side, I had a Cindy Crawford workout VHS tape from the 90s. I loved it so much I bought it on DVD (amazed to see they re-released it!).

Nothing unused, but I have a kettlebell that I am not using as often as I would like. I think I bought one that is too light for me (just 10 lbs) and it doesn't thrill me to use it.

DH does. He has bought so much informercial stuff over the years. The last purchase was a rather expensive juicer that he used for maybe 2 weeks.
Other than a couple of DVDs that I just don't like, I've used all of the stuff that I've purchased. I used my Firm DVDs for many years, and still will on occasion. I use my resistance bands and weights, and the BowFlex. I also have 2 Pilates DVDs that I really like.
I even use the elliptical that DH just had to have (I really don't like the elliptical, but it's there so might as well use it when I can't get outside for cardio).

That is totally me but I joined DailyBurn (going 17 days strong now) and I've been using all of my weights and my yoga mat (sadly I do still have many neglected dvd's and wii fitness games)
