well it depends on your weight for how much you burn.. Two people treading water... one is skinny and goes real fast another is obese and goes slow... who burns more calories... the skinny guy thinks it is him but it is the obese person working slow is burning more calores... I know that farm work is listed under fitness choices... for someone qbout 165 pounds I think they burn around 300 calories an hour check your fitness section with your weight

lol, googled the same thing because I didn't believe what SP told me I burned during my ride so I wanted to confirm it (one of those 'too good to be true' moments, plus I grew up with my friends insisting riding is making the horse work, not you -_-; )

I use this calculator for any "odd" exercises I do.

It's hard to say, it might fall under the "heavy cleaning" category. But also keep in mind that if you do it everyday, your body has probably become accustomed to it, so you may not be burning as many calories as you think.

Not really. Wear a heart rate monitor if you want an estimate.

Hi guys,

Any ideas how many calories burned I can count for mucking out two stables every day? Takes me 1.5 hour.

Thanks.
