It can take anywhere from around 6-8 weeks for healthy lifestyle changes to show up on the scale. Don't worry, changes ARE happening in your body! You're burning fat, and may even start shedding inches. When your scale catches up, I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised.

How long does it take for your body to get used to heavy exercise and start losing weight again? I "kind of" lost 3 this week, but gained it all back during the week. I am not too surprised at this considering I didn't eat dinner the day before weigh-in (not a normal practice, just ended up being that way). I started doing Insanity on Friday (I weigh in on Sunday).
I weigh every day and noticed that it really isn't changing. I know that it takes time for your body to get used to exercise, but I never had a delay before. This is much more intense than I have ever done before and I was just wondering how long it took for your body to get used to it and start losing again?
I am not worried - this isn't a post for help or suggestions or anything. I am just curious to see what others have experienced.
