Some people still have dial up internet and spark is really slow. So they track everything for the week in one sitting.

I like points, too. It is like a chart full of gold stars

Spark points make it fun! We are all motivated by something different so what's that big deal if it's a spark point or if it's just shedding pounds. There are many roads to the same destination. Who cares how we get there? I was only asking a question on something that motivates me. Sorry.

I could go for that, but some people would disappear completely!

I'm amazed at the fact that sometimes I get over 100 points in a day, and I don't even track nutrition and exercise here. Add those in, and it's entirely possible to get close to 600. It's also possible, as someone mentioned, that this person is a day ahead. It's already August 2 in Australia, NZ, and all that area, and we have lots of active members in the other hemisphere.

There is an obsession with the points. What happens when we get to the end? I'd rather get quality over quantity.

heck, I'm not greedy. I'll take 1 lb loss for every 7,000 Spark Points!

"Do you lose a pound for every 3500 spark points you get????"

OMG how awesome would that be!!! emoticon

I think I'm a bit of an oddball, I do not pay any attention to Spark Points at *all*!!! I only remember to spin my login wheel every 5th day or so... (but I would definitely make it a higher priority if it did result in bonus weight loss ha ha ha!)

Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE**
Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)

It's possible if you do certain things, like connect a Fitbit or buy a Spark book as was already mentioned.

Just discovered that myself a few days ago. Got about 400 points in one day. Good bonus & Long In, read all my content, completed a survey, health articles, posted comments, and had plenty of exercise points. WOW!!! Thought I was in Heaven! LOL

If you go to the points tracker page and look toward the bottom, there are additional one-time points you can get for various tasks. I once posted 1400 points in one day that way as I had purchased a spark book, connected up my spark account to BODYMEDIA etc.

No rigging here!

Maybe they did something like connect a fitbit or a bodymedia or bought the spark solution (500 points)

Not too hard to get up to 600 on top of that.

Is it possible that you're in a different time zone than him? Also, my points updates sometimes take a solid day or two to change. No worries, no rigging at SP

It's the first day of August and some guy already has 600 and some spark points? Is this thing rigged?
