Unfortunately there isn't an easier way to do that and it is necessary to type the ingredient list because otherwise that text won't show up on your recipe page when you save it.

Is there a quick or easy way to move the ingredient list from #1 to #3? Why do we have to enter it twice? I have been using copy and paste but then have to delete some information.

When entering the recipes, for the food database it has to be entered in decimals, but then the written information has to be entered separately, so the person that enters it can enter it as 1/2, 3/4, etc.

I cant even find the recipe builder!lol

but many recipes on the website are showing quantities as: 1/2 , 3/4 ...etc! will they convert automatically?

You need to enter that as a decimal, so enter it as 0.5.

I have been trying to create my own recipe and the "builder" want's only whole numbers . How do I get it to accept 1/2 cup of anything? This may sound simple for those of you that have fogured it out, but I am stumped!! Thanks in adnavce.
