I try to remember that working out and eating well helps with the stress!

I want to think again of dangerous and noble things. I want to be light and frolicsome. I want to be improbable and beautiful and afraid of nothing as though I had wings.

Stardust is wise.

Focus on what you CAN control.

I need to deal with stress just now, too, and this is great advice for me, as well

I feel empowered knowing that I am losing weight on my own and can control what goes in my body and how I work it - the stress of work and home can't stop that if you don't let it!

What do you do when you lose motivation half-way through your workout? When this happens I can't get back into it.

my big motivation right now is my wedding in october! i know once i'm home it's hard for me to motivate myself to go workout (i love sleep) so i go to the gym right after work. This is the only way i stay consistent with my workouts.

I agree with other posters. If I can't control a situation, then I just go to what I CAN control. It used to be food (I felt that I was in control when I was eating constantly, but I was actually OUT of control!) but I just pull out my exercise mat and do some mat exercises.

Working out is in MY CONTROL. When I keep opening the refrigerator even though I'm not hungry, I put on walking shoes and take a walk. Even if it isn't at the same energy level as my regular workouts, it helps distract me and improve my mood.

When you think stress is out of control...

what you eat is one thing you CAN control;
and exercise is a great stress reliever.
