Spend my first half hour awake by myself (most days). I like to have that time alone to drink my coffee, wake up, and mentally prepare myself for the day ahead. Then I wake up the kids, make them breakfast, and take my son to school. My daughter is still in preschool and only goes two days a week in the afternoon so I spend the rest of the morning with her and cleaning, running errands, answering emails and phone calls for work, etc. Next fall they'll both be in school every morning so I'm planning on working out right after dropping them both off.

My ideal way of starting a day is getting up at 4 a.m. with bags ready, car gassed up, and out by 5 heading somewhere like a coast for the day. Stop for breakfast about 7ish and just enjoy the entire day. Back home no later then 8 p.m unless we make it a weekend trip and stay the night in a hotel.

Within 30 minutes of my alarm going off, breakfast is down the hatch and coffee is in the travel mug and I am out the door to work.

After the kids are at school....banana, coffee, TREADMILL! Everyday starts with exercise--7 days a week, 365 a year....yep, weekends too! Exercise is my all-natural everything-cure. :)
