Yoga is a pretty gentle exercise regime so I imagine that it would be pretty hard to over stretch. Hot yoga is a different story, with the heat increasing the flexibility of muscles and joints making over stretching more possible. As long as you are not feeling pain when you stretch, you're probably not over stretching.
I have started doing yoga as a stretching routine after my regular cardio and strength training workouts. I don't think I have overstretched, but I have read articles saying not to overstretch. How do you know if you're overstretching?
