I have come to love the way I feel while working out and after the workout. I think of those things to get motivated. My man is also in the habit of reminding me. He likes how it energizes me with positive outlook. Walking, road biking, strength training are my opportunity to celebrate my health and wellness. It helps to take the perspective of appreciation that you CAN workout.
When I was building the workout habit I counted how many days in a row I took my walk and kept going (being consistent) so I would not break that streak. Now you can set a goal here at SparkPeople and your 'streak' is tracked for you.
I also like to decide on NO EXCUSES sort of resolve and feel the pride of keeping promises I make myself.
Health and Fitness enrich every part of my life and they are true abundance. You are worth it!! Go for it!
