Juice is not as filling.
1. Usually contains less calories
2. slow chewing helps with satiety vs fast drinking

A rough estimate of calories:
1/2 cup fruit juice = 80 calories
1/2 cup veggie juice = 20 calories

This is a random question that crossed my mind today. I was wondering how people who juice often manage to track the calories? For opposed to eating maybe 5 servings of carrots, if you juice 10 servings, isn't that more calories you're consuming that doesn't keep you as full? Assuming that whole foods aren't filling you up as much as thick liquid in this situation...
