Hi, Kelly !
LEC is correct. We can't spot reduce areas of our bodies we don't like. It would be great if we could, but we can't.
However, I can assure you that if you continue to eat right, watch your portions and get some regular exercise that includes some strength training, you will lose off your belly. You know what Murphy's Law on weight loss says ? The place we want to lose first is the last place it goes.
So, don't beat yourself up because the weight isn't coming off as fast as you'd like. You need to be patient with yourself and your body. Continue to eat right and watch your portions and eventually you will lose off your stomach area. You're probably noticed that your shirts fit better than your pants. That's not unusual. Women, in general, tend to lose in the chest first.

We don't get to choose where the fat comes off, unfortunately. Some people say that fat loss operates on a first on - last off principle but I don't know. Just keep working out and eating healthy and everything will eventually shrink. One thing that won't make the fat go away but might make it less apparent is if you work on having good posture all the time. I've taken pictures of me when I'm slouching and when I have good posture and there is a noticeable difference in how heavy I look between the two.

I have been working out and changing my lifestyle for 6 months. I have lost 50 lbs which is a great accomplishment... except I have lost 1 pant size. Everything else is shrinking! My legs, arms and bust have all shrank. I lost an inch around my wrists. Why are my size 16 pants still snug?! I was in a size 18 (barely) when I started, but 16 is still not the right fit. Is there anything I can do to help lose some inches around my waist?
