one meal at a time, one day at a time, one pound at a time

7 am - for breakfast I had a veggie omelette - 2 veggies so far

What is the cost calorie and emotional wise if I indulge in my emotional hunger at this time?

Stinking thinking and stinking choices = overweight

I do not have to obey my snack thoughts. I wanted some cookies. If I would have given into the thought I would have felt worse. Instead I had some veggies and feel much better.
We might not have a choice at the moment with our thoughts but we always have a choice on what we do.

When I am focused, plan ahead and track how I am doing throughout the day -- no problems. When I am unfocused, want immediate gratification, do not plan and do not track -- reason vanishes and I become helpless and full of "I can't". hmmm you would think there is a pattern there!

Missed my goal for the week, so doubling down on dedication..

Today, I will hit the weights and run..
Keep calories at the low end of my range.
Drink enough water.
