Some people mock and ridicule the topic of global warming. Ken Burns film, "The Dust Bowl" did a good job of explaining the effects of the farming era that almost turned the Midwest into a desert. Changes in farming practices turned things around except for the billions of trees cleared for farming. Billions of seeds fall from trees every year. For 2 years I have collect some seeds and tossed them along the way while walking the dog. Now there are many more trees growing. Such a simple way to help the environment

I can relate to the original poster, I am in Vegas it was 110 today, its just starting to cool down at 9pm, if I had my treadmill inside I would of used it to walk but had to improvise for a few days here~

Living in Fla,quite a challange, used to exercise outside in my 20s ,and 30s,Now all exercise indoors,humidty terrible and humid,and its only going to get worse.

Air Conditioning at the Gym and my cool basement at home.....both good ways to beat the heat.

I go to by basement where it is cool and use a fan to blow full blast and sweat away!

The high temperatures and pollen often send me indoors for work-outs. You may want to look for some outdoor exercise options that appeal to you until the temperature drops.

If your area is safe, maybe very early morning temperatures are lower.

When it gets too hot outside to run, I shift my jogs to the early morning before all the concrete has had time to heat up. The heat always slows me down and makes me lower the intensity of my runs... eventually when it gets too hot, I am mostly walking. It's better than not moving at all.

But there's nothing wrong with exercising indoors!

The weather, hot or cold, never affects my decision to exercise. I live in Minnesota and we have everything from cold and snowy to HOT and humid. I run outside in the winter and summer. The heat may slow me down or shorten the distance but I will still run.

And the weather never affects my ability to strength train because that can be done easily inside in a climate controlled environment.

Is it cool enough in Malaysia to exercise early in the morning or evening when the sun is going down? Or do you have access to any air conditioned place you can exercise?
I live in NE PA. It hasn't gotten that "hot" here yet. At least not for more than one day, then another rainy day as a cold front goes through and its cooler than I'd like.

I exercise in the mid afternoon,in the air conditioning ,living in Fla with a heat index close to 100

I walk & it is getting hot,I just keep focused & know I will soon be in a cool shower after a 4 mile walk, I dislike walking in the heat,but I know how could I will feel after!!

We've been having a cold year so far in Canada. Last year was our heat wave. I love the heat but we've had good hiking weather this spring. Most of my exercise is done indoors anyway. It's when I do upper and lower body that I sweat buckets and I sweat moderately from cardio.

5 minutes spent on your abs 2-3x a week is all you need to firm them up. Most people put way too much emphasis on targeting their abs anyway. Losing body fat is far more important to the appearance of your abs. If you build too much muscle there it will just push the fat on top further out. If you have a proper full body ST routine, you only really need 1-2 ab targetted exercises.

I live in Florida, USA and we have been experiencing cool mornings (62F) and warm afternoons (86F). Lucky for me I work out in the mornings. I expect our mornings will turn hot very soon then I'll just have to sweat more.

Malaysia is going thru a major heatwave right now!

It's just waaaay too hot to exercise but I still need to bcoz I'm trying to firm up my abs!

There's just too much deforestation going on. I don't think this heatwave will go away anytime soon. I think it's just going to get worse bcoz the corrupt politicians won't do a thing about saving our rainforests! All they care about is profits!
